Dún Laoghaire VEC provides a number of services in support of students. Financial support is available in the form of VTOS (Vocational Training and Opportunities Scheme) and other grants and scholarships including the following:

In addition, students who qualify for a VTOS or Youthreach programme have the option of availing of full-time or part-time crèche facilities or childcare support.
Crèche places are available at the Willows Crèche in the Dún Laoghaire VEC Childcare Centre located in the Sallynoggin College of Further Education. This facility caters for children aged twelve months to ten years and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. As an alternative to a crèche place, VTOS/Youthreach students may avail of a subsidy towards the cost of childcare in an approved centre of their own choice.
Within the colleges a range of services and facilities are provided including: student union, sports clubs, career guidance & counselling and student canteen.
