The central administration of Dún Laoghaire VEC is carried out at its Administrative Offices at Century Court in Dún Laoghaire town centre. Office opening hours are 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
The CEO has overall responsibility for the provision of the Committee's services together with responsibility for the executive management of the VEC. The function is supported by a comprehensive administrative structure consisting of three departments:
Corporate Services
---
Finance
Human Resources
In addition to the above Administrative functions, the Adult and Community Based Education Service is also housed within the Administrative Offices. The Adult Education Officer is responsible for the overall management of this service. Within this section, the Programme Co-ordinators for Adult Literacy, Adult Guidance, Youth Service and Community Education are responsible for the co-ordination of their services.
A key goal of Dún Laoghaire VEC's 2006-2010 Education Plan was to establish and maintain an efficient and effective management and organisational structure so that customers and students would have ease of access to various services.
