Finance

The role of the Finance Department is to ensure full financial accountability through appropriate controls and procedures, to manage the-day-to day financial running of the organization and to provide the necessary accounting and reporting information to assist Executive and Committee decision-making.

The main functions of the department are listed below.

Manage cash flow and budgets
Control Income and Expenditure
Prepare reports, annual accounts, annual Service Plan etc
Implement internal/external Financial Controls
Implement internal/external Audit controls
Administer payroll service
Administer trainee allowances, student grants, scholarships and funding on behalf of the Department of Education and Science
Procurement
Manage and implement IT projects e.g. Corepay
Process expenses and receipts
