Corporate Services

Corporate Services has overall responsibility for the Corporate Governance of Dún Laoghaire VEC. The department is also the administrative hub of the VEC.

The main functions of the department are listed below. 

  • Provide administrative support for CEO and APO
  • Service Committee and Sub-committee meetings
  • Produce Annual Service Plan and ensure implementation of Education Plan
  • Administer self-financing and capital projects
  • Formulate policies in conjunction with other colleges and centres
  • Administer School Transport for Post Primary Schools in the Dún Laoghaire area
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation
  • Manage the Information Technology needs of the organisation
  • Collaborate with and participate in local and national bodies, such as, IVEA and the Dún Laoghaire- Rathdown County Development Board
  • Co-ordinate CPD and in-service training for DLVEC staff
